Rector – Reverend Sarah Dulley
Reverend Sarah began at St Christopher’s, Rutherford as an ordination student in March, 2019. She went on to be ordained Deacon in July, 2020 and then Priested in November, 2020.
On 8 March 2021, Reverend Sarah was commissioned as the Priest in Charge of both Maitland and Telarah-Rutherford at which the Cluster Parishes of West Maitland came into being. In 2023, Reverend Sarah was made Rector of the Cluster Parishes.
Reverend Sarah came to the position with 25 years of teaching experience that ranged across diverse settings. She began teaching as a Primary Music Teacher in Queensland and then moved into Special Education Teaching and Learning Support Teaching at a rural school in New South Wales. She holds a BA (Mus), Grad Dip Ed, M Ed (Leadership and Management), Grad Cert Ed. (Inclusive Ed), Cert IV in Kinesiology and M Theol.
Reverend Sarah is a keen listener of a wide range of music and enjoys pursuing creative hobbies. She loves to travel, engage with different cultures and to learn. She is blessed with her adult daughter Georgia and is learning how to keep her plants alive.
